This green ordinary time chasuble and stole set was a commissioned set and only the second I made. They were made to a beautiful design created by the priest's wife. The same design was on the back and front.
The design was drawn on cream paper which may seem like stating the obvious, but when you then transfer the design to green damask vestment material the various elements blend in rather too much with the background and so distinctive edging needed to be added. Some of it is gold and some dark coloured thread.
The stole shown is an example of the chunky-ended style (see the lenten array for the bell-end style). The choice of style is likely to depend on the decoration required as well as personal preference.
